A dependence on foreign oil, ever increasing fuel
prices, and new requirements that must be met in order to comply
with EPA standard. We know what you're up against. That's
why our engineers have developed a system that alleviates all
of these profit gouging obstacles, while significantly improving
the environmental benefits.
With
a Cleantechnics International by-pass filtration system you will
cut down on the disposal of used motor oil. Just one quart of used motor oil can contaminate 250,000 gallons of fresh water.
Case study :
Look at the over-the-road trucking industry. There are
more than 2.6 million class 8 trucks on the road in the US. Each
truck carries (on average) 44 quarts of lube oil, requiring oil
change intervals an average of every 20,000 miles. Travelling
approximately 120,000 miles a year, these vehicles consume more
than 3 million barrels of oil and produce 3 million barrels of
used oil for disposal. Added to this are the more than 15 million
used oil filters that are sent to the landfills each year…
Our technology reduces these numbers significantly. With a CTI
filter an annual oil usage of 3.2 million barrels, is reduced
to less than 25,000 barrels. And, instead of the 15 million used
filters that would be contaminating landfills, a CTI system cuts
the number by almost two-thirds.
This is but one example of the positive ecological
impact our technology can have on oil consumption and disposal.
Add in all of the transit buses, diesel locomotives, farm equipment,
marine engines, energy generators, etc, and you see numbers that
are absolutely staggering.
Please use your voice to encourage your local government and businesses to consider this green technology for their vehicles, and let them know that they'll reap economic benefits as well. Write to your legislators to share with them the benefits of green technologies, and remind them that providing incentives for businesses to install such technologies, they can help businesses succeed even while they take steps to protect our environment.
